He was CFO of several manufacturing companies for which he started studying and implementing lean control management methods.
In 2002 he started working as a consultant to help companies develop management control models consistent with the Lean System principles: focus is the control of the value stream em> both in KPIs measurement, exposure and analysis of financial performance, so to actively support streamlined processes and continuous improvement activities.
He is the author of The Lean CFO em> (CRC Press, 2013) and co-author of The Lean Business Management System: Lean Accounting Principles and Practices Toolkit em> (with B. Maskell, B. Baggaley, D. Weight and S. Lilly, 2007).
